Project: Spotify Celebrity Playlists (2018 to 2023)

During my five year tenure at 2 Degrees in LA, I led the Spotify account and was responsible for engaging celebrities to use the platform creatively, fostering deeper connections with their fans and enhancing project visibility. Our strategy showcased Spotify's unique value as a cultural conduit and medium for fan engagement, benefiting both the platform and the talent.
My team and I actively collaborated with celebrities and content creators, guiding them in using Spotify playlists for innovative storytelling. We offered comprehensive support in setting up and optimizing profiles, brainstorming playlist concepts, sharing social media best practices, and identifying press opportunities.
Our playlists often included 'easter eggs' relevant to the talent and story angle, generating additional buzz.
We successfully aligned Spotify with cultural milestones by involving high-profile figures such as Kim Kardashian, The Rock, Matthew McConaughey, Floyd Mayweather, and Heidi Klum. Sample press below:
